Senior Fullstack Developer at Skandia

Working as a Fullstack Developer
As a fullstack developer, you will be a key player in the development of our web systems, both for our customer and case management systems within Skandia's insurance area.
You will be part of a web team that works with everything from requirements gathering to development, testing, and implementation. The team has a strong focus on collaboration and knowledge sharing, and we actively use pair and mob programming. Here you will find a safe and inclusive environment where we share ideas and help each other to achieve our high goals.
The team is based in the Stockholm office and consists of a product owner (PO), scrum master/system owner, software architect, fullstack developers, and testers. We work according to the SAFe method and use new technologies such as .NET 8 and the development of micro web applications. This means that you will work with both new development and maintenance. Collaboration with other IT teams is central to our team, and we strive to always put the customer's needs in focus. We work in a hybrid model, which means a mix of office work and remote work. In this role, you will report to our group manager within IT Risk & Health.
To Succeed in the Role
We are looking for someone who enjoys collaborating and sees the value in achieving success together with others. You are a curious person with a strong interest in constantly learning and developing, both individually and in a group. With your desire to explore new ideas and solutions, you contribute to a positive and innovative atmosphere in the team.
We see that you have worked for a few years in system development within .NET and C# in the backend as well as React.js, Javascript, and Typescript in the frontend. You have experience with unit testing and GIT as well as REST APIs. To succeed in the role, we also see that you can speak and write Swedish fluently.
In our team, we use tools such as Webpack, Jest, WCF/SOAP, as well as platforms like Azure DevOps and Octopus Deploy; experience with these is a plus, but not a requirement. We have also started our journey with GitHub Copilot and see it as a given that you want to be at the forefront of AI-supported system development. It is an extra merit if you have previously worked in the banking/insurance industry.
